Conference Description
Building Foundations for Life Women’s Conference will be a one day conference aimed to provide help and hope for today and tomorrow. The day will be filled with worship, fellowship, eating, and being spiritually challenged through God’s Word. We are excited to welcome speaker, Janet Aucoin (more information below). She will be speaking about the topics of Her Worth, Self-Esteem, Submission, and Unfulfilled longings (brief descriptions provided below).
Meet Your Speaker
Janet Aucoin
Janet lives in Lafayette, IN, where she is the Director of Women’s Ministries at Faith Church. In addition, she is ACBC certified, teaches in the Faith Community Institute, serves as the Coordinator of fellowship for FBS Seminary wives, and speaks at retreats and conferences. She has a B.S. in Human Resources from the University of South Florida. She and her husband, Brent, have been married for 25 years and have two adult children attending Purdue University.

Session One – Her Worth
Explore the beauty of our roles, the depth of the purpose we have and the freedom of living within it.
Session Two – Self-Esteem
Consider how Psalm 139 shows the superiority of a God who knows us and loves us anyway! Moving our focus from ourselves to God and others.
Session Three – Submission
Study the example of Christ; know the privilege of following in his footsteps in the Biblical area of submission.
Session Four – Unfulfilled Longings
Examine why women struggle with living a joyful & victorious life. Learn how to change our expectations & find real satisfaction in the midst of a sin-cursed & lonely world.
