This is a tremendous ministry that reaches out to children who have never heard the Good News of Jesus Christ, as well as grows and challenges those children who know Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. AWANA stands for Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed. You can visit their website at www.awana.org.
This ministry is for children ages 3 through 6th grade. We welcome any child in that age range and provide a nursery for parents with younger children (though we do not provide the personnel to staff the nursery) that wish to bring their older kids during that time. AWANA runs from 6:15 – 8:00 PM on Wednesdays during the school year. If that is too late for your children, you may pick them up at anytime before 8 pm.
This a great ministry that reaches out in evangelism as well as discipling those children who have an existing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord.
