Since we all counsel people around us everyday, The Potter’s Wheel Biblical Counseling Training Center is committed to training us to be effective Biblical counselors. We run training conferences in the spring and fall to train the local Body of Christ. These total 30 hours of training, over two weekends. Our training meets the requirement of Phase 1 that is necessary for certification in ACBC (Association of Certified Biblical Counselors). We also have an Advanced Track that takes place on the Saturday of Fundamentals A and Fundamentals B. This Advanced Track is only for those who have completed Fundamentals A and Fundamentals B and are looking to be further equipped to help those who are struggling with God’s Word.

Fundamentals B: March 28 – 29, 2025 (15 hours)

Friday AND Saturday

Both Fundamentals A and B total 30 hours of training, over two weekends. Our training meets the requirement of Phase 1 that is necessary for certification in ACBC (Association of Certified Biblical Counselors). We recommend completing Fundamentals A first, but you may take Fundamentals B first if necessary to fit your schedule.

Fundamentals B will cover the following topics:

• Continue to build on the Basics of Biblical Counseling taught in Fundamentals A
• Mental Illness
• Depression
• Marriage & Parenting
• Pornography

Advanced Track: March 29, 2025

SATURDAY ONLY

The Advanced track is for those who have completed Fundamentals A & B and will further equip you to help those struggling with relationships. The interactive teaching and specific case studies will have lots of opportunity for give-and-take discussion as we work through these common counseling issues.

This one-day training has been approved for seven CEUs for ACBC members.
