Praise To The Lord The Almighty

Verse 1
Praise to the Lord the Almighty The King of creation
O my soul praise Him
For He is thy health and salvation All ye who hear now to His temple draw near
Praise Him in glad adoration

Verse 2
Praise to the Lord Who over all things So wondrously reigneth
Shelters thee under His wings
Yea so gently sustaineth
Hast thou not seen how thy desires ever have been
Granted in what He ordaineth

Verse 3
Praise to the Lord Who doth prosper Thy work and defend thee
Surely His goodness and mercy here daily attend thee
Ponder anew what the Almighty can do
If with His love He befriend thee

Verse 4
Praise to the Lord Who
When tempests their warfare are waging
Who when the elements madly around thee are raging
Biddeth them cease turneth their fury to peace
Whirlwinds and waters assuaging

Verse 5
Praise to the Lord Who
When darkness of sin is abounding Who when the godless do triumph All virtue confounding
Sheddeth His light chaseth the horrors of night
Saints with His mercy surrounding

Verse 6
Praise to the Lord
O let all that is in me adore Him
All that hath life and breath
Come now with praises before Him Let the amen sound from His people again
Gladly for all we adore Him

New City Catechism #25

Does Christ’s death mean all our sins can be forgiven?
Yes, because Christ’s death on the cross fully paid the penalty for our sin, God graciously imputes Christ’s righteousness to us as if it were our own and will remember our sins no more.

II Cor. 5:21 “For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”

One Desire

Verse
This is my prayer this is my one desire To know You more my Heavenly Father
In every situation to lift You higher
As I bow down and live a life surrendered
To always be true
And love like You love

Chorus
I will follow You wherever You may lead
I will lift You up for all the world to see
My destiny will be all eternity
You
My one desire

Bridge
Almighty God hear my prayer My one desire is to know You Almighty God hear my prayer My one desire is to know You

Jesus

Verse 1
There is a truth older than the ages There is a promise of things yet to come
There is One born for our salvation Jesus
There is a light that overwhelms the darkness
There is a kingdom that forever reigns There is freedom from the chains that bind us
Jesus
Jesus

Chorus 1
Who walks on the waters
Who speaks to the sea
Who stands in the fire beside me He roars like a lion
He bled as the Lamb
He carries my healing in His hands Jesus

Verse 2
There is a name I call in times of trouble
There is a song that comforts in the night
There is a voice that calms the storm that rages
He is Jesus Jesus

Bridge
Messiah
My Savior
There is power in Your name

You’re my rock and my Redeemer

There is power in Your name

In Your name

Chorus 2
You walk on the waters
You speak to the sea
You stand in the fire beside me You roar like a lion
You bled as the Lamb
You carry my healing in Your hands God

There is no one like You
